If you haven’t yet discovered her wonderful books, she is the USA-Today best-selling author of the Mercy Carr mystery series about two military police veterans suffering PSTD—one a wounded female and the other, a bombing-sniffing Belgian Malinois.
We talk about the inspiration for her characters, the awards she has won – including from the Dog Writers Association of America – and what is on the drawing board in the future.
